  • Apps unsupported by Lion (OS X 10.7) as I find them [update x2]

    Hopefully you’ve made the switch to Lion. Although I wasn’t impressed initially, I really do like the extra features and am putting them to good use. However, you might be wondering if some of your old apps will still work. Power PC apps are no longer supported, but if you’re like me, you don’t know what apps were power PC or not.

  • OSX Lion (10.7) Breaks Git, the Power PC is dead, and my Bin commands are gone

    Git users, beware! For those that don’t know, git is version management software that is run in the terminal, facilitating synchronization, deployment and version management of files for web developers. After my install… Git was no where to be found. Thankfully a fresh install of Git was all it took to get back up and running.

    Like every good Apple fan boy, I can’t help but stay up to date with the latest hardware and software. I will write an update with my own observations on the Lion OS. For the price ($29.99) I don’t think you can go wrong. I’ll spend weeks finding all the new features and cursing at Apple for removing the features I still use.
